Most runs in Ashes 2015 = Steve Smith (Australia)


He made 508 Runs in 5 Tests. With 2 Centuries and 2 Half Centuries. Including 66 4s and 3 6s.
Steve Smith, next Aussie captain, has finished with most runs, the only one to cross 500 runs mark, ahead of Joe Root, currently the no.1 batsman on ICC rankings and Chris Rogers who’s announced his retirement. Smith and Root scored two centuries in this series. David Warner, Alastair Cook & Ian Bell played few valuable knocks while Moeen Ali, Mitchell Stac & Stuart Broad did the damage down the order.

Chris Rogers (Australia) made 480 Runs and place 2nd position and Joe Root (England) made 460 runs with 2 centuries.

 Most wickets = Stuart Broad(England).


Stuart Broad, with 8 for 15 at Trent Bridge, made a real mark on the series, staying ahead of Mitchell Starc who bowled the best for Australia. Josh Hazlewood, playing his first Ashes series, als made an impression while Nathan Lyon was the best spinner of the series. James Anderson had just found his rhythm before getting injured with Steve Finn and Moeen Ali in back-up. Mitchell Johnson didn’t make as much impression as was expected.

He took 21 wickets in 5 tests. With the best of 8/15.

Mitchell Starc (Australia) placed second and he took 18 wickets in 5 test. With best of 5/111.

Josh Hazlewood (Australia) took 16 in 4 test with the best of 3/68. And placed 3rd.
